Pittie Group - Manager - Purchase - Aroma Chemicals & Fragrances

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled professional with hands-on experience in sourcing and purchaser for Aroma Chemicals and Fragrances. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in chemical sourcing, preferably with an aroma background, and possess excellent coordination and problem-solving skills. This role involves managing vendor relationships, ensuring timely deliveries, and resolving purchase-related issues while working closely with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, particularly in the Aroma Chemicals & Fragrances sector.

- Lead new vendor development initiatives to expand the supplier base in aroma and fragrance categories.

- Track and monitor orders to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any delays.

- Collaborate with the internal audit team to address queries related to Purchase Orders (PO) and Goods Receipt Notes (GRN).

- Resolve issues related to PO, GRN, Purchase Invoices, and the booking of Debit Notes.

- Coordinate with the logistics department for timely vehicle arrangements to ensure smooth delivery operations.

- Maintain updated records of purchase orders, vendor performance, and delivery timelines.

- Stay updated on market trends and ensure the best procurement practices for chemicals and fragrances.

Key Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

- Proven experience in sourcing and vendor development for Aroma Chemicals & Fragrances is preferrable.

- Strong understanding of chemical sourcing with a preference for aroma-based experience.

- Excellent knowledge of PO, GRN, and purchase invoice processes.

- Strong coordination and communication skills to work with internal and external stakeholders.
