The Manager Cost Accounting will be responsible for managing and overseeing the cost accounting functions, including the development and analysis of product costs, budgeting, and inventory management. This role requires a deep understanding of Bill of Materials (BOM), manufacturing processes, and cost accounting principles. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across various departments.

Experience:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost accounting, with a focus on FMCG/manufacturing environments.

- Proven experience in managing and analyzing Bill of Materials (BOM).

- Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, financial analysis, and inventory management.

Education:

- ICWA, CMA, or other relevant certification is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Cost Accounting Management:

- Develop and maintain cost accounting systems and procedures.

- Prepare and analyze cost reports, cost forecasts, and variance analyses.

- Oversee the preparation of cost accounting records, reports, and other supporting documents.

Bill of Materials (BOM):

- Manage and analyze the Bill of Materials (BOM) for accuracy and completeness.

- Ensure that BOMs reflect current product structures, costs, and manufacturing processes.

- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to update and maintain BOMs.

Inventory Management:

- Monitor and manage inventory costs, including raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.

- Conduct periodic physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.

- Implement and maintain inventory control systems and procedures.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

- Participate in the annual budgeting process, including preparing cost projections and analyses.

- Develop and maintain cost standards and ensure they are up-to-date with current production methods.

Financial Analysis:

- Conduct detailed cost analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.

- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making processes.

- Prepare financial models and reports for management review.

Compliance and Reporting:

- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

- Prepare and submit required financial reports and documentation in a timely manner.
