As a Senior Consultant, you will be part of the team that is responsible for providing solutions to Pitney Bowes clients. You will lead or be part of the team that is responsible for end-to-end implementation of data quality projects for clients across various industries like Financial Services, Healthcare among others. You will be tasked with measuring, analyzing and addressing data quality issues in accordance with the defined requirements of the clients for processes such as Entity Resolution, Marketing operations, Fraud, Regulatory & Compliance. Typical project outcomes lead to multi-million dollar savings for our clients.
The Job
- Develop data quality strategy, design a comprehensive data quality approach and plan that focuses on key business issues delivering improved analytics to our clients.
- Provide transparency on the current state of data quality, the intended purpose of data and its impact to the business.
- Design, test, deploy and document data quality processes and their output for Pitney Bowes clients. Throughout each project phase, you will provide relevant output and results from the data quality procedures to relevant stakeholders.
- Make decisions regarding how to measure business rules and quality of the data. To that end, you will be required to document at a functional level how the procedures work within the data quality applications and reporting layer.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative data quality analysis.
- Design and implement data quality dashboards and scorecards to track and monitor data quality issues, exceptions (DQ rule failures) and observed defects.
- Evaluate and incorporate new technologies into new and existing frameworks and solutions as applicable.
Qualifications & Skills required
- UG - B.Tech /B.E. or PG - M.S. / M.Tech in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline
- At least 5 years of work experience with client exposure.
- Deep understanding of software development lifecycle (design, build, test, release / deploy)
- Expertise in relational database management systems (writing queries, stored procedures, analyzing data) using Oracle or MS SQL Server.
- Know-how of Big Data platforms and No SQL is an added advantage.
- Detail-oriented, inquisitive; ability to ask meaningful questions.
- Ability to work as part of a team or as individual contributor based on project needs.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse and distributed product teams in an agile environment.
