Key responsibilities:
1. Actively oversee the drafting, review and management of contracts and agreements such as distribution, supply, licensing, business development, agency, etc.
2. Minimize risk through comprehensive review of contracts and other documentation
3. Management of execution of approved documents and oversee the maintenance of legal repository and online document database resources
4. Liaise with external firms and partners for transactional and operational documents, negotiations.
5. Advising business of statutory obligations and interacting with internal stakeholders for implementing processes to effectively manage such obligations.
6. Provide advice and guidance to the management and business teams on various matters as may be required from time to time.
7. Active participation in various internal groups to ensure greater visibility and accessibility of the legal function so that business can take advantage of in-house legal expertise
8. Establish systems and processes or improve existing ones to monitor, manage and utilize historical data, documents and information.
