Purpose of Job:

- The emerging corporate finance group handles debt finance transactions. This position would be assisting the Head Legal in directly working with the emerging finance group for all transactions and general advisory for the group.

- The role requires interactions with external firms and companies for execution of all transaction documents, closing related support and assistance to the reporting manager for all transaction related work.

- The role will also include advising the team on its statutory obligations while keeping in mind the interests of the company and interacting with internal stakeholders for processes.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

1. The candidate should have experience in drafting, and reviewing debt transactions.

2. The candidate should be proficient in debenture subscription processes, various loans by NBFCs and security creation.

3. The candidate should have a strong understanding of security related laws and processes, NBFC and banking regulations, SARFAESI, Companies Act and FPI/FVCI regulations.

4. The role will require coordination with external law firms, borrowers and internal teams on various financing deals.

5. The candidate will need to have proficient communication skills.

6. The candidate should have the ability to work under high pressure situations and run with multiple transactions together.

Educational Qualification:

1. Minimum LL.B from a reputed law school.

2. Fluency in English is essential.
