Job Title: Manager, Internal Communication

Location: Lower Parel

Primary Job Function:

1. Responsible for all communication material originating from the corporate communication desk including the quarterly in-house newsletter, bi-monthly news update to all employees via emailers and other IC tools.

2. Responsible for news updates on the websites, Intranet, social media and in-house collaboration portals.

3. Creates, maintains and updates profiles of all group companies / divisions/ verticals and spokespersons on a monthly basis

4. Ensures all media clips are archived and catalogued on a regular basis

5. Responsible for vendor contracts and negotiations that pertain to printing of magazine and other merchandise

6. Develops a mechanism to monitor the internal communication needs within the Group

7. Assists in content creation for website, social media, IC documentation

Core Job Responsibilities:

1. Develops and executes internal communications plans and activities that are aligned with the company's mission, vision and values as well as the business unit's strategy and objectives, and/or various division strategies and objectives

2. Tailors communications to meet the needs of various internal client needs

3. Leads, drives and executes all internal communications for C&I's transformation and change management initiatives

4. Builds strong relationships with C&I senior leadership and additional stakeholders to understand their business functions and formulate appropriate strategies and messages to achieve those objectives

5. Manages internal communications budget and leads agency relationships

6. Assists in communicating organizational initiatives and activities such as employee updates, corporate events and internal events

7. Provides guidance and support to business divisions for IC needs when needed

8. Develops content for intranet properties, newsletters, and more

9. Ensures global staff is kept up-to-date on BU and industry-specific initiatives, news, events

Education & experience:

- MA/BA degree in Communications, Public Relations or related field

- 4+ years of related experience preferably in an multinational company with complex matrix structure

- Must have knowledge of American / International English

Competencies / Skills

- Exceptional writing and content creation skills

- Experience working in internal communications role for a multi-national with global locations and complex matrix organization highly preferred

- Top-notch communication skills: presentation, verbal, writing, editing

- Experience managing and/or using a wide array of internal communications tools

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience managing and/or using a wide array of internal communications tools
