Pioneer Investcorp - Vice President - Origination/Client Coverage & Execution - Investment Banking

We are looking to hire a Senior resource for our investment banking division who could champion our efforts in originating and executing deals, both debt & equity, focusing on mid-market companies. Ideal candidate is a successful Investment Banker with end-to-end transaction experience and enduring promoter level relationships.

Scope of Role:

- Deal Origination, structuring, negotiation & execution of transactions across Debt transactions.

- Deep network and established relationships with potential borrowers including Banks, (Private & PSU), NBFCs, Credit Funds

- Support on deal diligence; primary research; for instance consumer interviews, market sizing, competitor benchmarking, creation of internal investment memos

- Understand the full spectrum of the client's financial & capital requirements- both debt & equity and other advisory products

- Work with the team in preparation of teasers, pitch books, information memorandum, management presentations, financial models and other deal related presentations & notes

- Acting as a primary relationship interface with corporates for all equity, debt, corporate finance & structured financial products.

- Strong awareness of market trends and underwriting appetite in order to originate the right kind of transactions

- Manage revenue driven performance evaluation matrix

Knowledge & Skills Required

- Background of Corporate Finance / Real Estate PE / Private Equity / M&A / Structured Finance

- Thorough understanding of market dynamics & macro - economic variables"

- A Self Starter with excellent communication, interpersonal & presentation skills focused on deal origination & end to end closure

- Demonstrated initiative & maturity in dealing with assignments & clients

- Development & interpretation of financial models & valuation matrices

- Strong problem-solving & analytical skills
