Pickingo - Senior Product Manager - IIT/NIT + IIM/ISB

Role : Sr. Product Manager

Location : Gurgaon

Job Description :

Product Strategy :

- Understand the product's current and future business goals, translate them into a scalable product roadmap and drill down to wire frames and screens level.

- Lead and develop product strategy and end state planning in partnership with customers.

- Competitive product positioning - Market & customer analysis, competitive / bench-marking analysis and feature parity analysis.

Product Development Life Cycle Management :

- Establish and deploy robust requirement-gathering processes to define product requirements as well as build continuous feedback proactively identify issues impacting the product line and recommend next steps/solutions.

- Support and lead the common PDLC tools and processes that the organization will adopt.

- Create Product and feature collateral including product layout, user experience, value proposition etc.

- Coordinate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure product features meet identified and agreed upon exit criteria.

Internal stakeholder management :

- Work closely with Operations, Sales and Fulfillment teams to gather their requirements and identify business trends.

- Evangelize a product management culture within the organization, including establishment of product development gating processes, best practices, and policies.

- Mentor and coach the team members and drive internal convergence where necessitated through consultative leadership.

Desired Skills :

- Well-versed in the entire life-cycle of a tech product (mobile and Web based) and comfortable in working across teams of producers, content strategists, designers and business stakeholders.

- Creative problem solver possessing attention to detail.

- A constant look-out for disruptive innovation and an eye on value creation are must-have qualities.

- The individual sets a high bar for performance for self and team and must adopt and perpetuate a non-hierarchical style of management.

- Should be obsessed with data.

Qualification :

- An Engineer/ comp science engineer (IIT/NIT, compulsory) + MBA from a premier Business School (IIM/ ISB).

- 3+ years of experience from either Consumer/Tech companies who have had experience in building and manage tech products.
