Position: Assistant Manager (Product Marketing)
Sub Family (Marketing (2W & Commercial Vehicles)
Location: Pune
Job Summary:
Responsible for introduction of the new products in the market as per the planned model/ specifications, timeframe and budgeted cost.
The incumbent will be responsible for Product lifecycle Management of all the existing and new products and will work across functions like Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Service, Quality, Consumers and Finance functions and execute the GTM plans of Products, incorporating the features in line with the Quality requirements.
Broad Deliverables / Responsibilities:
- Ensure the evolution/maintenance of the products range throughout their life cycle, through the definition of the changes and action priorities, in line with Consumer needs and profitability/sales objectives allocated
- Carry out market research, doing analysis and basis that, anticipate the product capable of meeting the Customer needs
- Coordinate and manage launching of products, specifically taking care of their correct positioning in terms of marketing mix
- Monitor the profitability and sales of products at all stages of their life cycle
- Plan and execute new product launch activities, monitor the progress, identify exceptions and implement mid-course corrections to achieve the final target.
- Team up to refine product value proposition through active PLC management.
- Define and execute a go-to-market (GTM) plan for the products.
- Track the effectiveness of various sales and marketing tools to align new GTM planning with learnings from the earlier GTM tracking includes measurable metrics as well as soft feedback from, working with field teams.
Qualification: B.E. (Essential)/ B.E. with MBA (Preferred) with 2 to 5 years of experience
