Job Description:
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) Lead plays a critical role in aligning human resources strategy with the organization's business objectives. This position requires a combination of strategic thinking, operational excellence, and strong interpersonal skills to support and lead the HR team in creating a positive work environment for employees while ensuring the organization's growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic HR Leadership:
- Develop and implement HR strategies that support the company's mission, vision, and business goals.
- Provide leadership in developing and executing talent management and workforce planning strategies.
2. Employee Relations:
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and department heads on HR-related matters.
- Handle complex employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and performance management.
3. Talent Acquisition and Retention:
- Oversee recruitment strategies, including attracting top talent, managing the hiring process, and ensuring a diverse and inclusive workforce.
- Develop and implement retention programs to reduce turnover and enhance employee engagement.
4. Learning and Development:
- Collaborate with learning and development teams to design and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
- Support career growth and advancement through performance and development planning.
5. Compensation and Benefits:
- Manage compensation and benefits programs to ensure market competitiveness and alignment with organizational goals.
- Provide guidance on pay structure, promotions, and rewards.
6. Compliance and Policy Development:
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are up-to-date and compliant with labor laws and regulations. - Conduct regular audits and provide guidance on compliance matters.
7. Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Utilize HR analytics to provide insights and recommendations for data-driven decision-making.
- Develop and maintain HR metrics and dashboards to measure and improve HR effectiveness.
8. Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals, setting goals and providing ongoing coaching and development.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work culture within the HR department.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- A minimum of 7-10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of the Ed-Tech industry and its unique HR challenges.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic HR planning, talent management, and employee relations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in HR software and tools.
- Knowledge of labor laws and regulations in the relevant geographic area.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM, HRCI) is a plus.
