Responsibilities :
1. Strategic HR Leadership:
- Assist the HR Head in developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the organization's objectives and mission.
2. Employee Relations:
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.
- Conduct investigations, address grievances, and facilitate conflict resolution.
3. Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:
- Oversee the recruitment process, including workforce planning, job postings, interviewing, and selection.
- Develop and implement effective onboarding and orientation programs for new employees.
4. Training and Development:
- Identify training and development needs and collaborate with the Training department to design and implement training programs.
5. Compensation and Benefits:
- Administer and review compensation and benefits programs.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits.
6. Performance Management:
- Implement performance appraisal systems and processes.
- Monitor and manage employee performance, feedback, and performance improvement plans.
7. HR Policies and Compliance:
- Develop, communicate, and enforce HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure legal compliance with federal and state regulations and reporting requirements.
8. Workplace Health and Safety:
- Collaborate with the Safety department to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with health and safety regulations.
9. Employee Engagement and Retention:
- Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention.
- Conduct employee surveys and analyze results for continuous improvement.
10. HR Metrics and Reporting:
- Collect and analyze HR data to provide reports and insights to senior management.
- Use data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
11. Change Management:
- Assist in managing organizational change and transformation initiatives.
12. HR Team Management:
- Lead and mentor HR staff, delegating tasks and managing their performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Several years of experience in human resources, with a proven track record in HR leadership roles.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR) is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to drive HR initiatives and foster a positive work culture.
