Phronesis Partner - Manager/Senior Manager - Healthcare Business Research

Job Description & Responsibilities

- Seeking highly motivated and experienced professionals (5-7 years) with domain expertise in the healthcare/life sciences/pharmaceutical business research/KPO space.

- This role entails managing and leading small and large project teams ensuring high quality deliverables.

- Active client management for identifying new opportunities and leading client solutioning and business development efforts in this domain.

- Supporting our healthcare and pharmaceutical clients to develop results-driven strategies including critical industry or market analyses.

- Setting up and managing research teams engaged in rapid research, business and strategic research, market assessments, drug analysis, indication market studies, pipeline research, case studies, creating thematic studies and information memorandums, competitive benchmarking and opportunity assessments.

- Delivering client and business objectives maintaining quick turn-around times high quality standards and efficient staffing.

- Conducting quality control checks of outgoing reports and deliverables, and ability to overcome intellectual bottlenecks on projects.

- Experience in Porter's analysis, 4Cs, GE-McKinsey matrix to be applied across projects on market entry strategy, market attractiveness studies, M&A due diligence, procurement analysis, etc.

- Experience of working closely with unit heads to understand and formalize required end deliverables within defined time frames and ability to assess the risks and benefits of alternative solutions.

- Experience in playing a client facing role (over the phone and email) to manage client expectations, understand their requirements and execute the tasks with the given team on a regular basis.

- Excellent knowledge of MS Office products, such as, Power Point, Excel and Word to deliver the desired output in a creative manner.

- Knowledge of various databases (Business/Competitive Intelligence/Financial).

- The role may entail travelling as per requirements.

Education Background

- Graduation - UG - life sciences / B Pharma / Related fields

- MBA/Masters in life sciences-Highly

Functional Area :

- Business Research, Strategic Research, Management Consulting

- Experience in KPO/business research firms operating in the life sciences/pharma space is an essential pre-requisite
