Roles & Responsibilities:
- Phonon is a CPaaS of about 85-100 people, with its HQ at Vadodara and sales and delivery operations at Mumbai, Gurgaon, Noida, Indore, Ahmedabad and Goa.
- We are looking for a Human Resources Business Partner to lead our human resources teams across these locations.
- As a- Human Resource Business Partner- at Phonon you will work towards building a world-class, ethical and value delivery company.
Your role will consist of developing and executing organisational mandates towards:.
- Employee lifecycle management including Manpower Planning, Budgeting, Talent Acquisition, Performance Management and Exit.
- Managing and Conducting all Employee Relations procedures including HR interventions, performance expectations, employee engagement and managing delivery of Phonon's key values.
- Building a Learning and Developing Organisation with a performance management, development and incentive programs leading to an objective and transparent employee assessment process.
- Reviewing risks and demonstrating a quality focus to make Phonon a great place to work and develop career plans to make each individual at Phonon an outcome oriented professional.
- Process owner for all Record Management pertaining to Employee Personnel Files, Attendance Data, Leave Data, Salary payments, etc. during the employee lifecycle for the regions.
- Ensure compliance for all HR matters and support in HR audit.
- HR Operations activities including: Mitigating attrition, conducting Exit interviews, coordinating the employee's exit from the firm and tracking status of full & final settlement.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition and Management.
- Responsibility for full recruitment life cycle across all functions as per SOP and TAT.
- Manpower Planning & Budgeting.
- Ensure implementation the Recruitment Plan as per the manpower plan.
- Ensure the formulation and implementation of a cost-effective Recruitment Plan.
- Ensure that the Job Requisition Forms are completed for all positions sourced - New/Replacements.
- Sourcing candidates across Recruitment Database, Job Portals, Social Media, Employee Referrals, Job Fairs, Campus interviews etc.
- Conducting competency-based interviews either through VC/Telephone/In-Person interactions.
- Offer Management includes Negotiation, Reference Check, Background Verification, and Relationship Management.
- Liaison with the HR Operations/Administration/IT/Learning & Development Team to ensure they are kept informed of all new hires and joining dates and respective inputs.
- Weekly review meetings with function stakeholders.
Organisation Development.
- Develop and execute HR strategy by implementing various HR Initiatives based on objective assessments and transparency.
- Build and implement performance management plans including:.
- Career planning and Learning plans that reward high performance employees and drives higher performance amongst the average performers.
- PIP (Performance Improvement Plan) to enable higher performance amongst lower performers.
Employee Relations and Compliance:
- To manage and conduct all Employee Relations procedures with support from HR Operations on disciplinary, grievance, performance management, and redundancies, Internal Complaints Committee.
- Process owner for all Record Management pertaining to Employee Personnel Files, Attendance Data, Leave Data, Salary payments, etc. during the employee lifecycle for the regions.
- Conducting Exit interviews, coordinating the employee's exit from the firm and tracking status of full & final settlement.
- Ensure compliance for labor laws as well as under the Shops & Establishment Act, as applicable.
- Key responsible person for external audit for HR Compliance (Client).
- Management Information/Reporting.
- Monthly/Annual Recruitment MIS.
- Need-based MIS for Function Heads on elements like Costs, Recruitment Agency Expenses, and Referral Incentives etc.
- Reviewing risks and demonstrating a quality focus to mitigate attrition.
Key Skills:
- Understanding and deployment of HR management models and structures to bring in transparent and objective Human Resource practices.
- Well-versed with Google environment (Google Emails, Documents, Spreadsheets) and Jira.
- Numbers driven with excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership and management skills.
- Good influencing and negotiating skills.
- Have experience of dealing with challenging situations.
- Demonstrated experience of Labor Laws, Good understanding of employment law.
- Ability to analyze, interpret and explain the legal framework regulating employment.
- Knowledge of ISO:9001 documentation and audit (preferred).
- Be confident directing HR and advising managers on all aspects of people management and development.
- Have a professional and commercial approach to HR, with the ability to deliver high employee satisfaction, appropriate development and reward for individuals.
Qualifications:.
Experience.
- Senior HRBP: 10+ years of relevant experience.
- HRBP: 4-6 years of experience in functional areas such as Human Resource, Organization Development, Talent Acquisition.
Education:
- UG - Any Graduate.
- PG - MBA/MHRM - Human Resource discipline (from Top Tier Institutes).
