PhonePe - Regional Sales Head | Must have large team management experience & MBA from a Tier 1 campus


We are looking for a results-driven Regional Sales Head to lead merchant acquisition and drive brand growth at PhonePe. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with a passion for sales excellence and people management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team to achieve merchant acquisition targets.

- Drive sales efficiency through streamlined merchant onboarding, training, and retention strategies.

- Coach, motivate, and develop team members to maximize productivity and performance.

- Build and nurture strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.

- Conduct market mapping and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and risks.

- Ensure quality customer acquisition while maintaining regulatory compliance.

- Enhance retail outlet engagement through training, merchandising, and BTL activities.

- Recruit, train, and manage ASM, TSM, and FOS teams for optimal performance.

- Drive sales incentives, channel profitability, and minimize churn.

- Identify and establish strategic distribution partnerships in key markets.

- Oversee P&L management, monitor team performance, and foster career growth.

- Consistently exceed business KPIs within the assigned region.

Requirements:

- 8-14 years of experience in senior sales roles, preferably as a Regional Sales Manager.

- Strong academic background from top institutions.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and field management skills.

- Experience in managing large, diverse teams.

- Analytical mindset with a data-driven, results-oriented approach.

- Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive business outcomes.

Note: Candidates with more than 14 years of experience are not eligible.
