Job Summary:
- This is a highly visible role which requires continuous communication with internal management and the external key stakeholders.
- This position will play a key role in developing and executing a comprehensive business strategy, engaging with the investment community, and serving as a key company contact.
- The role involves a wide range of strategic initiatives including identifying and assessing key growth opportunities, operating efficiencies and investments on behalf of Phi Commerce.
- Specific projects may include research, analysis, modelling, and forming recommendations related to emerging industry trends, expansion opportunities, M&A or strategic investments, competitive threats and internal business performance improvement.
- This position will report directly to the CEO.
Job Responsibility:
- Be a thought-leader within the organization and maintain a deep understanding of the payments landscape through research, outreach, and analytics.
- Help develop and prioritize strategies to align with company forecasts and goals
- Assist management in quarterly and annual business planning.
- Work with business units to create business plans to support the company's operating and strategic imperatives.
- Identifying strategic partnerships and business opportunities. Oversee execution of marketing plans.
- Partner with senior leaders and other internal partners to continuously drive, review and refine the strategic themes/projects that guide the company's strategy.
- Create and analyze financial reports, performance indicators and draft transaction related documents and memos
- Lead internal and external investor relations activities, including targeting investors and equity research analysts, planning investor and analyst meetings and events, preparing for and conducting quarterly earnings announcements.
- Serve as the key point of contact for investors and is responsible for all investor MIS and reporting.
- Prepare investor communications including portfolio updates, earnings calls, distributions and general strategy reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, with an MBA from a tier-I college
- Ability to convey complex concepts in a compelling, concise, and creative way.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and persuasively to prepare and explain data to team members and clients.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Powerpoint, spreadsheet, and database management programs in order to complete required reports.
- Minimum 2-3 years work experience is preferred. Investor relations / Financial domain experience a plus.
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with strong attention to detail as well as quality of deliverables.
- Demonstrated experience interfacing with an institutional client base.
- Must have a keen understanding of technology best practices specific to the Investor Relations/Reporting role.
- Understanding of key investment metrics (IRR, equity multiple, etc.).
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated track record of simplifying processes
