PharmEasy - Purchase Manager

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Manage gross margins (GMBCD) and handle schemes management to ensure unit profitability.

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers for quality and cost-effective sourcing.

- Lead supplier negotiations (both direct and indirect) for best pricing, terms, and timely delivery.

- Oversee end-to-end procurement operations - from requirement identification and sourcing to purchasing and final delivery.

- Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Finance, Sales) to align procurement with business needs.

- Monitor and optimize inventory to avoid stock-outs or overstocking.

- Track procurement KPIs, supplier performance, and generate reports highlighting savings and trends.

- Analyze procurement data to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and improve purchasing strategies.

- Handle vendor performance evaluations and address service gaps or delivery issues.

Skills and Qualifications Required:

- 2-4 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the healthcare sector.

- Strong knowledge of healthcare procurement standards, practices, and regulations.

- Proven experience in cost control, margin management, and vendor negotiations.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Strong Excel proficiency for reporting and data analysis.

- Effective interpersonal and communication skills for internal coordination and vendor management
