Assistant General Manager

Areas Roles and Responsibilities:

Strategy Development:

- Understand market trends, customer needs, and technological advancements in the glass industry in line with the companys target to grow premium C&P business across Glass and Deco

- Keeps abreast of advancements in the glass industry to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and potential growth areas in the glass industry

- Ownership of NPD P/L (% contribution of NPD in the total revenue)

- Identification of gaps (if any) and decision making to fill those gaps

Team Management:

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of NPD coordinators across Marketing, Glass and Deco

- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture that encourages idea generation and problem-solving to ensure completion of project within timelines

End to end NPD Coordination:

End to end Monitoring:

- Continuously monitor the end-to-end NPD pipeline from Glass to Deco (from feasibility assessment, mould design, mould manufacturing, mould procurement, sample production, commercial production and activities in Deco)

Cross Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate and influence Department HODs to prioritize NPD development efforts for product launches within timelines and resolve inter-departmental issues. Department HODs with whom interaction will be on a regular basis are:

- Design Head

- Mould Manufacturing Head

- Mould Procurement Head

- Glass Production Head

- Quality Head

- Deco Plant Head along with NPD coordinators

- Sales and Marketing Head
