Design, Develop & Plan:
- Ideation, planning, budgeting of all Channel & Influencer Activation, POS/POPE, Channel & Shopper Promotions, effective communication materials
- Contribute towards the development of ideas towards 4P strategy & tactics
- Turn - Selling Stories- into Sales Tools for effective translation of marketing communication, Develop Regional Trade Marketing Calendar, Ideate regional Channel Strategies
- Channel category Sales Development
- Drive and lead in-store innovation ; Translate Brand objectives into Trade Marketing actions ; Gain strong competitive position for the brands in different channels and manage and further develop programs
- Identify Category / Channel Point of purchase drivers, barriers, purchase decision tree, purchase process, influencers etc ; Identify and develop shopper insights in priority channels/customers in the assigned categories.
Collaborate & Support :
- Internally with Marketing, Sales & other stakeholders to build and execute a robust Trade Marketing Calendar
- Supports local teams in the execution of the activities and in achieving their sales and budget objectives, while ensuring the desired product benefits and brand values/equity are properly communicated
- Align with Category teams towards sales to win with winning customers and to grow share with all customers
- Continuous analysis of customer position, working together with stakeholders to recommend in-store action aimed at strengthening brand position within categories
- Be the single point for sales & regional trade marketing teams for Category Trade Schemes, Market Prices, incentives etc by managing it along with team
- Assortment recommendation.
Execute :
- 100% execution of Trade Marketing Calendar & KPIs
- Drive and execute 4P strategy on-ground
- Implementation of all Channel, Shopper & Influencer programs On-Ground
- Manages the point of sales material (including budget, logistics, distribution, assortment- ) by finding the most efficient solutions ; Help achieve all regional channel strategies through programs
- New Product Launch, Ensure launch reconciliations as per deck and relevant data are on time and complete with all sales relevant elements
- Achieve market share, availability and visibility targets through strong market activation.
Budget:
- Owner of Regional Trade Marketing Budget
- Bring in sharp efficiencies into utilization
- Robust M&E process implementer
- ROI analysis across a broad range of activities to guide effective commercial outcomes and support trade spend optimization objectives.
Market Intelligence:
Acts as eyes & ears on-ground for market intelligence
- Collaborates with marketing intelligence resource to read and report results of activities and to provide recommendations and forecasts
- Serves as key contact for Brand Marketing
- Competitive Insights from market to be actively sought and updated regularly to sharpen and ensure trade programs are in line with market requirements
Team : Manage an internal field marketing team at the region.
Manage Vendors:
- Getting vendors in our bucket, making them understand the company's process, ensure proper customer management, and ensure that Budgets are utilized as per plan in line with provisions
Desirables:
- University degree in marketing or comparable is needed - Master and or any other further qualification in marketing / trade marketing is appreciated
- A total experience of 7 years and above with minimum 3-5 years of trade marketing management experience is needed - Relevant experience in international, modern companies is needed - Former Experience/background in Sales is highly recommended
Industry : FMCG and related industries
- Knowledge: Knowledge of marketing and trade marketing activities, tools and techniques is needed - Knowledge of category management and assortment is needed - Knowledge of trade channels European level (mass market and traditional trade) is highly recommended - Knowledge of most important IT tools is needed
- Languages: Fluency in spoken and written English - Fluency in spoken and written local language is highly recommended - Knowledge of further languages is appreciated
- Capability in building strategic, multilevel and team work relationship is needed
- Capability in dealing with complexity in a multinational environment is needed
- Energetic, organized and business-driven approach is highly recommended
- Strong influencer, engaged and with structured and strong communication skills, ability to build and win consensus among stakeholders
- An affective hands-on approach together with fearless of challenges are appreciated
- Good role-based leadership and decision making are highly appreciated
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong commercial understanding of business issues/opportunities
