JOB SUMMARY:
- The Ethics & Compliance professional, will divide their time between proactive compliance activities such as due diligence, conflict of interest, gifts and hospitality, trainings and related reporting.
- They will also be responsible for conducting investigations into alleged violations of the organization's code of ethics, policies, and procedures.
- They will work closely with other departments, including Ethics, Legal and HR, to ensure that all investigations are handled in a fair and objective manner and that appropriate actions are taken to address any identified misconduct.
- The Ethics Investigator will be responsible for ensuring that all investigations are conducted in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and that all evidence is collected and preserved in a manner prescribed by the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage proactive compliance matters for Pernod Ricard India across all brands at the Head Office
- Conduct thorough and objective investigations of alleged violations of the organization's code of ethics, policies, and procedures.
- Gather and analyze evidence, including documents, emails, and witness statements, to determine the facts surrounding the alleged violation.
- Detailed understanding of laws and regulations around fraud, anti-bribery and corruption in India and internationally.
- Ensure that all investigations are conducted in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and that all evidence is collected and preserved in a manner consistent with legal requirements.
- Identify the appropriate data sources and conduct interviews and reporting to GM E&C Head.
- Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development.
Reporting:
- Prepare excel and presentations for regular reporting
- Prepare written reports detailing the findings of each investigation.
- Manage the implementation of procedures, controls, analytics, and trend evaluation.
- Training and Communication + special projects
- Manage training and communication in areas under the code of conduct for the organization.
- Special projects across the legal and compliance function with significant exposure to PRI
INTERACTIONS:
INTERNALLY:
- Legal, HR and other stakeholders
- Senior Management of Pernod Ricard
- Extensive interactions with cross functional teams in supporting their needs.
- The incumbent should develop good interpersonal relationship with the client departments in order to get the best information and insights from them
EXTERNALLY:
- Vendors/Advisors/Consultants
- Advocates/Lawyers
- Auditors

PROFILE DETAILS
QUALIFICATION:
Chartered Accountant (C.A.)/ Lawyer/ C.F.E. or equivalent
EXPERIENCE:
- 6 - 10 years of total experience with strong experience in compliances of applicable laws for the large, diversified Corporates/MNC's. Experience in working with FMCG Industry would be preferred.
- Must have worked in house Ethics & Compliance teams.
- Hands on with data analysis and fluency in report writing.
- Ability to fluently communicate with senior stakeholders.
