Role Summary :

This is Leadership role and will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of all projects for Integreat, ensuring effective utilization of resources, delivering projects on time and within budget and managing the customer expectations.

Role expectation:

- Project Management: Overseeing the entire software delivery process from initiation to closure.

- This includes planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder communication.

- Understanding of Government Regulations: Familiarity with the regulatory environment in India's banking sector is essential.

- This includes compliance requirements, security standards, and any specific regulations governing government-owned banks (eg EASE Guidelines).

- Financial Management: Given the significant budgets involved, financial acumen is vital.

- This involves budget planning, cost control, financial reporting, and ensuring the project stays within allocated budgets.

- Technical Proficiency: While not necessarily a deep technical expert, a good understanding of software development methodologies, technologies, and architectures is necessary to effectively communicate with technical teams and make informed decisions.

- Stakeholder Management: Government projects often involve multiple stakeholders with diverse interests.

- Being able to manage relationships with government officials, banking executives, IT teams, vendors, and other stakeholders is crucial for project success.

- Quality Assurance: Ensuring the quality of the delivered software is crucial. This involves implementing quality assurance processes, conducting testing, and monitoring performance to ensure the software meets requirements and user expectations.

Other skills critical for this role :

- Risk Management: Identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks is essential for managing complex projects.

- This includes both technical risks related to software development as well as broader project risks such as regulatory changes or funding uncertainties.

- Vendor Management: If the project involves working with external vendors or contractors, strong vendor management skills are necessary to ensure deliverables meet quality standards, timelines, and contractual obligations.

- Communication Skills: Effective communication, both verbal and written, is vital for conveying project updates, requirements, risks, and decisions to various stakeholders, including senior management and government officials.

- Problem-Solving Skills: Invariably, challenges and obstacles will arise during such complex projects.

- The ability to think critically, analyze situations, and devise creative solutions is essential for overcoming these hurdles.

- Change Management: Implementing new software systems often requires organizational change.

- Having skills in change management, including training, communication of benefits, and addressing resistance, can help ensure successful adoption of the new systems.

Soft skills:

- Cultural Sensitivity and Political Savvy: Working with government-owned entities requires navigating bureaucratic structures and understanding the cultural and political context.

- Being sensitive to cultural nuances and adept at navigating organizational politics can significantly aid in project success.
