Industry - Accounting / Finance / Audit Category - Finance Job Type - Permanent Job Description - Accountability :- Controller - To act as a GCS Coordinator for the Site - This includes Assisting all process owners for periodic process review for all cycles - Work with Process Owners in preparation of Process Flows and Identify Risks for new processes or changed processes - Responsible for completing Fraud Risk Assesment/Control Risk Assesment/Self Assesment as per reporting timelines - Responsible for submitting All GCS reporting requirements as per timeliness - Ensure Corporate Audit completion without any major finding and closure of Corporate Audit Observations if any. - Drive Control testing as PWF GCs Timetable - Compile Quarterly GCS results and report to PWF Control Team - Arrange reviews with Plant Leadership Teams on GCS quarterly results - Work with Process Owners for remediation plan for failed controls - Impart GCs training with HR for all Associates - Responsible for preparation for Balance sheet schedule, arrange reviews with FM, BU and PWF control teams - Prepare NOPBT and other month end reporting to submit to BU as per BU timelines. - Ensure Branch Reconciliation during month end - Responsible for providing Statutory Audit schedules to Statutory Auditor and closure of Statutory Audit observations including working with SSC for preparation of Financials - Preparation of DII file and reporting of the same - Work with Statutory executive to ensure timely filing of GST reports to BU as per BU timelines - Work with Statutory executive for GST/Excise Audits and sales Tax Assessments - Resolve cross functional issues regarding stores, Manual Invoicing, Inventory provisions etc - Work with Enggineering to support Idle assets disposal - Responsible for Assets Capitalisation and Physical verification of Assets - Arrange for Physical Stock Verification of Total Inventory on monthly basis for whole plant with 3rd party Auditors and resolve issues arising out of PVs - Update Sales Pricing and BOMs Costing updation in SAP - Interact with BU Legal for GST/Excise, VAT and any other taxation issues - Interact with various BU teams on adhoc issues &amp; resolve BU queries if any - Drive Expired Stock Clearance from Plant and follow up with Legal/GST Deptt. for clearing old remission pending. - Work in other site specific agenda as per the requirement. Accounts Payable and Book Keeping - Ensure all Invoice verifications for Raw Material,Packaging Material, OGS and capex is done correctly and timely. - Ensure timely payments to vendors as per terms of payment - Ensure Imports MIROs are process accurately and Timely - Work with SSC &amp; Treasury to ensure all duty and Import vendor payments are timely accounted for - Responsible for payments thru Citi Bank Portal - Ensure BS schedules are prepared as per Timelines and ensure the hygiene and no old open items. - Preparation of detailed analysis on All clearing accounts and Accounts payable - Resolve all Vendor Payment and reconciliation issues with procurement team - Review of FTM and YTD MOH - Control/Process Owner for AP related and other finance related Controls - Responsible for preparation of accurate MOH provisions at monthend with all budget holders - Work with all Budget Holders for MOH Plan Vs actuals Cause of change - Assist Technical team in validating all capex costs incl taxation prioir to Trackwise upload - Update capex tracking sheet-Finance part - Work as SAP Super User for Finance - Finance Data Steward for all Innovation - Ensure No credit loss due to GST mismatch - Ensure Physical verification of Assets completed as per timelines with findings incorporated in books of accounts. - Work with Engg Team to ensure Monthly Capitalisation of assets - Ensure Vendor Reconicilation once in year minimum or as per need for per change in frequency later. Key Skills/ Experience Required :- - Minimum 5-7 Years of Experience in accounts with strong Control mindset - ICWA with 3+ years of Experience is preferred - Any previous experience in executions of Controls or internal audit is preferred - Sound knowledge in SAP is required
