Manager – Space & Data Management, L06

Main Purpose –

- Be the expert on space and data management

- Enable PI to provide expert space management solutions to its preferred partners

- Generate actionable insights from various data sources

- Leverage assets of PI ( coolers) in trade to their fullest through space management tools to develop POGs & data analysis

Accountabilities –

The key responsibilities may be divided as follows:

- Source category off take data from Customer buying / merchandising teams , analyze and recommend assortment , range and POGs for categories.

- Liase closely with Customer and CDM teams to source various off take data for analysis , present them to relevant audience for further actions

- Generate insights from various data made available

- Work with AC Nielsen to source monthly data and generate and circulate reports to top management on monthly basis

- Provide analysis and interpretation of various data from time to time

- Develop assortment and POG for TT coolers

- Assist Shopper Insights Manager and Head of the team in various category captaincy projects – execution and tracking

Job Dimensions –

PI has made significant progress in the field of space management. It has established itself as an expert in the field and leading Customers in India seek its inputs in the area. Internally, PI has deployed substantial coolers in traditional trade and these assets have to be leveraged to drive PI’s strategic priorities such as SKU wise distribution agenda and cold stock shares among others.

The holder of this role, through his / her expertise will enable PI to continue and grow further in the field.

Key Skills/Experience Required – specific education/certification, specific functional experience, language etc NEEDED for the job.

Experience and Qualification

- MBA from a Top B school

- Minimum 2 years work experience in FMCG industry in sales , especially organized trade or minimum 2 years experience with reputed agencies in this specialized field having worked with various Customers or FMCG companies or minimum 2 years experience in organized retail sector

- Target profiles are candidates working as Category Manager/Merchandising Manager/Marketing Managers in organized

Retail/Modern Trade

- Knowledge of space management and software skills will be a big plus

Skills and Behavioral Attributes

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, influencing and persuasion skills

- Strong project management and data interpretation/ analysis skills

- Ability to cross-reference and benchmark

- Persuading & Influencing – Savvy Communication & Negotiation Skills required to collaborate with Customer teams

- Deciding and Initiating action – Self Starter with a high Drive for Results

- Advanced usage of Power Point & Excel is a big plus

- Ability to organize large quantum of data and convert data to information is a must
