PepperTap - Manager - Operations

Who We are :

We are building India's most sophisticated hyper local delivery marketplace with a focus on selling groceries. The company was incepted in December 2014 by IIM alumnus and a serial entrepreneur. We have raised multiple rounds of funding from the Top VCs such as Sequoia Capital and SAIF Partners. We are currently operational in Delhi NCR and expanding at rapid pace to about 12-15 cities by end of the year. We currently employ ~200 of best of brains/skills in the industry and will be a 1000+ team very soon.

What You Would be Doing :

In addition to enjoying the company of/ interacting with some of the smartest brains/entrepreneurs in the industry, you would be :

- Playing a key role in setting up operations of assigned territory

- Own operational metrics of the assigned territory

- Hire, manage, and train ground staff

- Come up with innovative ideas to optimize operations of the assigned territory

- Maintain ongoing relationship with our business partners within the territory

- Troubleshoot day-to-day operational issues

Prerequisites :

- A graduate degree from Tier 1/Tier 2 institute (MBA would be a plus)

- Prior hardcore operations and logistics experience would be a HUGE plus

- Any prior FMCG distribution experience will be a HUGE plus

- Open to work on field as well as head office environment
