Pepper Money India is a part of the Pepper Group, a global financial services company with ~$100B of AUM, 20 years of world class operating track record in 14 countries and backed by global investment firm KKR. Pepper Money runs a series of fintech businesses across the world. Some of the large businesses include a mortgage business in Australia and UK, a BNPL business in Spain.

Pepper Money India business is the latest launch of Pepper Money in year 2022 and we intend to build a multi-product financial services platform. We are a pure-play FinTech aiming to build a highly non-linear business that scales through the right investments in digital methods, organic customer reach and operational efficiencies.

Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for a Manager - Operations in Cards business who is ready to take the next step in their career to help build a consumer fintech from grounds up.

Here's what you'll do day-to-day:

- Manage the end-to-end prepaid and credit card issuance process, from card delivery, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies to ensure an effective product launch and subsequent operations on a regular basis.

- Manage card operations, pre and post-cardholder acquisition including customer boarding, card printing and fulfilment, payments, call center operations, fraud management, chargebacks, collections, and account maintenance etc;

- Oversee transaction processing, customer service, and fraud detection activities to ensure timely and accurate resolution of customer issues.

- Interact and communicate with Pepper Money's internal and external key stakeholders to maintain and oversee all operational processes, develop, maintain, document and train internal and external staff on standard operating procedures, drive quality initiatives across the customer lifecycle, maintain the highest customer experience.

- Develop and maintain a strong operational controls framework to manage operational and financial risk while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Oversee third party vendors to ensure delivery of all commitments, SLA's and quality expectations.

- Identify gaps and continuously interact with vendors to improve overall delivery standards; Support the development and launch of new products;

- Develop and maintain the required financial and operational reporting to ensure the appropriate level of visibility of Pepper Money operations.

About You: Here's what we're looking for:

- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.

- 6+ years of experience in credit card operations, with at least 4years in a core cards operations.

- Strong understanding of credit card operations and regulations, including underwriting, transaction processing, customer service, and fraud detection

- Proven track record of developing and implementing operational strategies and processes to drive efficiency and improve customer experience

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address operational issues and risks

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and manage multiple priorities effectively

- Experience working in a fintech or financial services company is a plus
