Manager - Financial Planning and Analysis

Roles and Responsibilities:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically-driven Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis to join our finance team. As an integral part of our Finance function, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing financial strategies, forecasting financial performance, and providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership. This position requires strong financial expertise, analytical skills, and the ability to translate financial data into actionable plans.

Here's what you'll do day to day:

1. Financial Planning and Analysis:

- Develop and manage the financial planning process, including annual budgeting, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial projections.

- Collaborate with senior leadership to set financial targets and objectives aligned with the organization & strategic goals.

- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and scenario modeling to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.

- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to support decision-making and optimize financial outcomes.

- Monitor and analyze key financial metrics, including revenue, expenses, profitability, and cash flow, and communicate results to senior management.

2. Forecasting and Reporting:

- Manage the financial forecasting process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and reliability of financial projections.

- Prepare and present financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, to senior management and stakeholders.

- Monitor and analyze actual financial performance against forecasts and budgets and provide variance analysis and commentary.

- Identify and communicate potential risks and opportunities based on financial trends and analysis.

- Develop and maintain financial dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and measure financial performance.

3. Stakeholder Management:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and senior management, to gather input and align financial planning efforts with overall business objectives.

- Work closely with the CFO and other finance leaders to provide financial insights and recommendations.

- Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including financial institutions, auditors, and consultants.

About You:

- Proven experience in financial planning and analysis roles, preferably at a managerial level.

- Strong financial acumen and in-depth knowledge of financial concepts, principles, and practices.

- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and financial analysis tools.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw meaningful insights.

- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders
