We have an opportunity for a PeopleSoft HCM/HRMS Functional Consultant for one of our client, which is an MNC and provides product engineering services and solutions & IT consulting services and technologies.
Job Description:
- Provide PeopleSoft functional consulting services by acting as subject matter expert and leading clients through the entire systems development lifecycle.
- Analyze user requirements through documentation of current processes, analyzing alternatives and redesigning processes to implement the best HCM/HRMS solution.
- Create functional specifications including process maps, functional design and test plans.
- Design application modifications and new functionality as appropriate.
- Manage functional requirements by documenting current processes, analyzing alternatives and redesigning processes to implement the best solution using a fit/gap analysis.
- Develop functional specifications including process maps, functional design and test plans for projects requiring technical review and development.
- Recommend system configuration options that will support current functionality as well as establish a framework for future use cases.
- Work with business users and IT resources to define reporting capabilities and options.
- Act as a liaison between technical and functional teams.
- Work with the project management team to establish and monitor project tasks and milestones.
- Facilitate communications, change management and training needs for changes to HR processes and systems.
- Deepen functional understanding of customer's business process.
- Strong data analysis and problem solving skills.
- Create and maintain all necessary documentation and training materials for application changes.
- Respond to client requests and inquiries, as appropriate.
- Determine test approach for testing stages.
- Develop test plan and test scripts for all testing stages.
- Execute and Verify testing.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 4-8 years PeopleSoft experience with strong focus on HCM/HRMS.
- PeopleSoft 9.1 experience.
- Upgrade and implementation experience, with a minimum of 1-2 full life cycle implementation.
- Ability to work on all project phases.
- Solid understanding of setup tables, entire HCM/HRMS cycle, processes and reporting.
- Understand integration of HCM/HRMS with other PeopleSoft modules.
- Demonstrated ability to address unusual system related issues and proactively resolve open inquires.
- Strong conceptual and problem solving skills as well as the ability to identify and recommend solutions to improve efficiency
- Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve system-related issues and take corrective actions independently.
- Production Support experience.
- Clear and effective communication.
- Consistently produce clear, concise status reports.
