If so, you might be what we are looking for in Peel-Works- product team. You will report directly to the Chief Product and Technology Officer and work closely with other product managers, business stakeholders, and the engineering team. You will contribute to one or more of the following focus areas:
- Discovery
- Payment
- Fulfilment
- Driving customer retention, order frequency, average order value, app rating and -NPS
- Insights for CPG companies
You will communicate with and respond to the needs of stakeholders in sales, operations and technology, while retaining a sharp focus on product strategy. Based on your knowledge and inputs from the product team and business stakeholders, you should be able to form hypotheses. You should use data-driven analyses and qualitative user research to test those hypotheses, reworking or dropping them based on the evidence gathered.
Responsibilities :
- Develop a product vision that meets the needs of the business while solving problems for users
- Evangelise the product vision to the engineering team, immediate stakeholders and organisational executives
- Own the product roadmap, ensuring it balances short terms needs with strategic vision
- Optimise the e-commerce flow to acquire new and retain existing customers
- Improve self-service to help customers manage their accounts and subscriptions
- Collaborate and communicate with business and engineering stakeholders with a firm but fair attitude
- Create the product backlog, develop product requirements documents, and prioritize the backlog for development by engineering
Requirements:
- An engineering degree followed by an MBA from top-tier schools
- Experience in product management, preferably in E-commerce
- Experience working with cross-functional, cross-geographical teams
- Comfort with ambiguity and iterative development
- Ability to unblock teams from complex bottlenecks
- Ability to define what success looks like, and to effectively articulate and communicate it
- Ability to use data to make hypotheses, validate assumptions, and measure success
- Comfort with the language of technology: Sprints, Scoping, Estimation, UX, UI, Frontend, Backend, Jira, SDK, API, Database, Cloud, On-premise
