About the position :

InStore (retail analytics in a modern trade environment) is an integral part of the 9Yards business. pw works with premium brands in this business and enables such brand owners to receive rich insights about their shoppers, basket, shopping mission, inventory and sales forecasts. This position heads this business for two key brands (Toni & Guy + Lakme Premium portfolio) across the country. The direct team reporting into this position is close to 100 in count, layered through a 1:10 organization structure.

About the impact areas :

- Building a premium brand with affluent customers: Complete understanding of brand objectives from the point of view of the store, shopper and consumers.

Drive world class execution by :

- Managing presence and performance of a large geographically dispersed team to ensure consistent delivery of business results

- Forecasting monthly targets and working with the customer to align the supply chain systems accordingly

- Driving deployment and usage of technology tools provided to the customer facing executive

- Building and nurturing a high quality team, which is engaged with the brand objectives and is fluent with executing analytical recommendations.

- Build a formidable and differentiated business model by working closely with the analytics and product / technology team to continuously improvise the way value is delivered to the brand, shoppers are engaged with, stores are managed amongst others.

- Establish and sustain winning relationships with all stakeholders including the brand owner, external partners such as in the areas of recruitment, capability and internal verticals such technology and analytics.

About the candidate :

- Should have extensive product and category knowledge

- Sales experience with a leading consumer goods company

- Natural flair to connect with people

- Strong bias for technology and analytics

- Be mobile within the country and internationally
