Peel-Works - Manager - Supply Chain

Supply chain manager will manage the entire logistics activity in the respective city, ensuring on time distribution to the stores.

Role & responsibility

- Extensive knowledge and experience with Last mile delivery and making appropriate arrangements to ensure on time deliveries.

- Managing day-to-day transporter performance to ensure service, cost and on-time delivery.

- Consistently evaluating vendor performance to ensure adherence to predefined specifications

- Negotiating with transporter vendors for cost effective transport solutions.

- Planning routes to optimise vehicle usage throughout the city

- Deliver solutions to logistics problems while maintaining high levels of service

- Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify inefficiencies.

Skills Required

- Strong negotiation skills

- Daily reconciliation of vehicle usage

- Knowledge of road permits related documentation.

- Work experience of 5+ years in logistics / SCM

- Local market work exposure and knowledge will be preferred.
