We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Insights Manager with expertise in B2B commerce to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating comprehensive reports, analyzing data, and providing valuable insights to drive informed business decisions. Additionally, this role requires a focus on identifying gaps in business processes and recommending best practices for scalable growth based on the data collected.
Responsibilities:
1. Data Analysis and Interpretation:
- Collect and analyze data from various sources related to B2B commerce, including customer behavior, sales trends, and market dynamics.
- Interpret data sets to identify key insights and trends, translating them into actionable recommendations.
2. Report Generation:
- Develop and produce regular and ad-hoc reports that provide stakeholders with a clear understanding of B2B commerce performance.
- Utilize data visualization tools to create compelling and easy-to-understand reports for different audiences within the organization.
3. Market Research:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics within the B2B commerce space.
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify opportunities and threats, providing strategic insights to support decision-making.
4. Gap Analysis and Process Improvement:
- Identify gaps in current business processes through data analysis and collaborate with relevant teams to address and rectify these gaps.
- Propose and implement best practices to optimize workflows and enhance efficiency based on insights derived from data analysis.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Product Development, to gather insights and align strategies.
- Act as a liaison between data and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring effective communication of findings and recommendations.
Continuous Improvement:
- Proactively identify areas for improvement in data collection processes and analytical methods.
- Stay informed about advancements in data analysis tools and techniques, recommending and implementing enhancements as appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Data Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in a similar role with a focus on B2B commerce.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and business intelligence platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey findings to diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, CRM systems, and B2B sales processes.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all work.
