About the role: We are looking for a Director Product to lead the product team for our Merchant Experience and Payments platform.&nbsp; - The product leader would be responsible for&nbsp;owning the payments product - conceptualization of new payments, integration of with financial institution, seamless onboarding of merchants, improve engagement and work on products to grow the retention rates of our active merchant base. - We are looking for a product leader with 10-14 years of product and solution experience. This involves focusing on core payment platform products i.e. settlement, refund, chargeback, analytics etc. - As the portfolio grows, the product development in this role would have a larger share of new product development along with some share of optimizing existing flows. We are sharing some of the key skill sets required to succeed in this role: Technical : - User story writing, bug and roadmap management expert - Uses analytics expertly - Understanding of open banking APIs User Empathy : - Understanding different user types and their needs - Synthesize user needs into insights Strategic Thinking : - Ability to lead effective brainstorming with peers from Design, Marketing and Analytics team - Ability to frame the problem, pull in external dynamics, involve key stakeholders, generate/prioritize ideas with appropriate support Communication : - Articulate business problems to engineering partners well - Write and deliver presentations to stakeholders with appropriate support Team Management : - Extensive experience in leading a team of product managers - Ability to mentor team and guide them to identify solutions - High level of maturity in delivery management in terms of project planning, execution, quality and reporting &amp; stake holder expectation management We are looking for people who have a background in engineering. There will be preference given to folks having payments/fintech background who understand the payment ecosystem.
