Paytm - Sales/Business Development - Hotel Signup

JD - Sales/BD - Hotel Sign Up

You will be required to hunt and contract with Hotels, Tour Operators, Travel Agents, Adventure Sports/Activity providers and any other service providers relevant to the Travel/Tourism domain in a given area/territory, for enabling them to offer their services/inventory for sale on Paytm's travel marketplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Search for and onboard all potential service providers in the assigned area

- Manage commercial negotiations and contract signing

- Collect rich information/images from the partner to showcase the offering on Paytm.com. Verify that Paytm.com has accurate information and pictures of newly signed service provider

- Train the service provider on Paytm's extranet/inventory management system and dashboard

- Ensure 100% inventory availability through on-going account management

- Identify strategies for maximizing bookings/revenue from the signed up service providers and minimizing instances of inventory non-availability

- Perform rate checks and negotiate lowest rates for Paytm

- Actively support the customer care team for speedy resolution of issues & escalations

- Evaluate market trends and competitor activity and provide analysis and recommendations to management

- Promote Paytm brand and its online travel marketplace to service providers by conducting workshops, participating in exhibitions and organizing events

Ideal Candidate should have

- 1-4 years of experience in similar role (preferably in Travel/Hotels domain)

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Pleasing/humble/friendly personality

- Proactive, result oriented, strong bias for action

- Ability to work independently without guidance

- Good with data and detail

- Self-starter, highly passionate & motivated

- Loves to travel, willing to travel 100% of the time

Salary Range: 7 - 12 LPA
