Paytm - Manager - Risk & Compliance - Banking Vertical

Strategic responsibilities:

- Establish a risk management framework for the Bank and monitor its adherence

- Ensure that the risk and compliance framework is implemented & adhered to, update risk and compliance Policy and risk procedures based on regulatory requirements

- Supervise activities of the all business Departments, develop and implement risk mitigating measures including clear standards, procedures and guidelines to prevent, mitigate or minimize compliance risks

Report to the Senior management on the following matters :

- Instances of all material compliance failures, administrative actions initiated against the Bank and corrective action, which may attract a significant risk of legal or regulatory sanctions, financial loss or loss of reputation

- Significant findings received from regulators, corrective action plan suggested and the status of implementation of such corrective action plans

- Compliance risk assessment, monitoring results, change in compliance risk profile, etc.

- Quarterly reporting on status of compliance with regulations

- Direct the formulation of bank's overall Risk Management strategy including market/ liquidity and operational risks and adequacy of capital to meet the targeted risk profile

- Drive the communication of all risk related policies, guidelines, latest developments across the bank to facilitate compliance to it

- Assess the risk of all new products introduced by the bank, fixing of limits and amendments in the relevant policies. Provide strategic guidance and consultative advice to the businesses within the bank to ensure a consistent approach towards risk management

- Oversee the development of bank-wide information security policy developed by CISO
