In this role s/he will support the Business Unit and be responsible for developing and implementing HR plans and solutions in order to achieve strategic business initiatives and deliver results. This role drives project management for various HR initiatives including management training and development, Recruitment, succession planning, policy review and implementation, etc.

We introduced an all new Paytm Shopping app early this year with a revolutionary concept to bargain for a deal before you buy. With an eye to change the game in mobile commerce in India, the app features shopping in various categories including Men, Women, Kids fashion and Home furnishing along with Mobile & DTH recharge options, which were already available on Paytm.

Key Responsibilities of the role:

- End to end execution of HR Processes - starting from recruitment, induction, administration of the Performance Management System, implementation of talent management programs and employee engagement initiatives and exit interviews

- Organising Skip meetings

- 10/30/60 day new joiner review

- Ensuring KRA’s for all employees in the client group are set and managing reviews and performance improvement plans for the client group

- Organising all hands meet

- Building relationship with each employee in the Client Group

- Establishing HR’s Role as an Internal Consultant and Adviser

- Administration and roll out of defined HR Policies and Practices

- Ongoing Communication and interfacing with the employees belonging to the Client groups

- Client Servicing in terms of query resolution and grievance redressal for the identified Internal Client Groups (including bus/parking etc)

- Joint ownership along with respective Process Owners/specialists of HR Metrics such as recruitment numbers, adherence to Performance Management timelines, feedback on employee engagement initiatives and learning and development interventions etc.

Desired Skills & Experience:

- Ability to influence and partner with different levels of the organization to achieve results

- Strong business and HR acumen, including strong problem solving skills, critical thinking, and self-initiative

- Demonstrated ability to coach managers and supervisors to use company best practices for maximum effectiveness

- Excellent written, verbal communication, interpersonal skills; high quality document and report preparation

- Excellent presentation skills and knowledge of employment laws

- Proven ability to successfully work as a team member and to build and maintain a positive work environment

- Experience working in an entrepreneurial environment requiring strong multi-tasking abilities

- Proven ability to use initiative in carrying out tasks

- Proven ability to prioritize tasks and to organize workload to assure that short timelines are met while having frequent interruptions

- Proven understanding of the role and functions of a human resource office within an operations structure

Preferred Qualifications:

- Master’s Degree preferably from a premium Institute (XLRI, TISS and similar institutes in Human Resources with 4-8 years of relevant work experience.

- Approachable, hands-on management style and an attention for details. Good business judgment combined with the ability to provide fresh, proactive insight.

- Aptitude for a youthful organisation and its needs

- professional and interpersonal skills to establish trust, credibility and rapport at all levels and with all employees.

- Capable of managing multiple assignments concurrently, to move swiftly and decisively, but collaboratively when required.

- High energy and self-motivated. Comfortable and confident leading change. Professional, honest and humane in performing the role.

- Proven ability to influence and communicate effectively with senior management and employees of the network
