About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Operations Specialist to lead payroll and HR operations across APAC.

Key Responsibilities Area:

Payroll Management:

- Lead end-to-end payroll processing, including monthly payroll reconciliations and reporting for APAC/East Africa regions.

- Conduct payroll audits to ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.

- Address complex payroll issues and employee queries to ensure smooth processing.

- Maintain up-to-date payroll process documentation and implement improvements.

- Support payroll audits, year-end processes, and statutory filings.

- Understand international benefits and their impact on payroll.

HR Operations:

- Manage employee records and verify onboarding documents.

- Oversee the verification process to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.

- Ensure adherence to HR policies and regional labor laws.

- Draft key HR letters, including employment confirmations and salary adjustments.

- Work closely with the insurance team to assist employees with queries and claims processing.

Skills & Experience:

- Education: Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Experience: 6-9 years in payroll operations, HR compliance, and employee lifecycle management for APAC or East Africa.

- Compliance Expertise: Strong knowledge of regional payroll regulations, audits, and HR policies.

- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with HR systems and payroll tools.

- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication to collaborate across geographies.
