We have an urgent opening for one of the leading FMCG company for the profile of "Payroll Operations Manager" in Gurgaon.
Accountabilities:
Main responsibilities of the Payroll Operations Manager include:
- Above all else, ensure the employees worldwide are paid correctly, on time and in accordance with both statutory legislation and company policy whilst ensuring, that there are no material audit issues and the principles of customer service are maintained
- Manage the day-to-day relationship with Neeyamo's operations team, building strong connections and ensuring the highest degree of customer service is maintained by Neeyamo.
- Ensure timely sign-off and upload of SEPA files for timely dispersal to employees.
- To provide support and assistance to the Payroll Programme Manager, and be responsible for implementing new policies and initiatives introduced by the company from time-to-time with minimal disruption to the business or department
- To ensure all payslips (both electronic and hard copy) and end of year tax documents are sent to employees in accordance with statutory deadlines in conjunction with Neeyamo
- To guarantee statutory transmissions are sent to the appropriate organisations within the appropriate timescales.
- Manage vendor completion of all payroll processing tasks and complete sign-off schedule for review ensuring any exceptions and outstanding tasks are documented
- Work closely with HR to ensure that the information received from HR Shared Services (interface from Success Factors), Finance Shared Services (interface from Expense management tools) and in-country HR / finance teams (flat files with other pay components) and loaded and captured correctly within Neeyamo's system
- Managing the review and reconciliation with Interface reports from Success Factors
- Managing incoming enquiries to service centre to agreed Service Level Agreement. Resolving queries at first point of contact, or refer on to regional payroll service teams as and when when required
- Managing team to deliver support to the Payroll PMO team with UAT and related programme deliverables
- Reporting programme and system defects and other areas of concern to Programme Manager in a timely fashion
- Taking overall responsibility to ensure Knowledge Transfer Activities between the captive team and the in-country payroll teams are fulfilled to a high degree of understanding
- Taking responsibility of delivering UAT activities within the Captive Team
Key Challenges:
- Recruiting and managing the set-up of a brand new team within the RB Shared Services offering, including developing KPIs / SLAs and building a network across the Group
- Developing new ways of working and breaking down in-country silos to establish global processes, standards and norms
- Supporting an ambitious and aggressive payroll implementation plan
