Payroll Officer - European Fashion Retail Brand

About our Client - Our client is one of the leading European fashion retail players with a significant presence across the globe. They are widely regarded as pioneers in the space, and have always been at the fore front of developing trendy and affordable clothes and accessories for their customers across age groups. Currently, they are looking at entering the India market, and are looking to recruit a Payroll Officer as a part of their central management team, based out of Delhi NCR.

Job Description - Job Description Reporting to the Accounting Manager and Country Finance Controller, you responsibilities shall include but not limited to:

- Monitoring and assuring accuracy of timesheets to coordinate with the outsourced team

- Providing the outsourcing company with all Payroll related information

- Responding to salary computation inquiries from staff

- Preparing payment list for bank transfers to the accounting department

- Checking and controlling payroll data

- Dealing with all administrative tasks of payroll administration

The Successful Candidate - You will be a professional with a Masters Degree with at least 5 years of post qualification experience in a payroll function. Prior experience in a fast moving consumer goods or retail industry is preferred. The client is looking for someone with excellent English communication and interpersonal skills along with knowledge on country-specific Social Security and Tax issues. Considering that the company is a startup in India, you should be comfortable working in a challenging and demanding work environment.
