As a Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees.
You will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with payroll tax regulations and union agreements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Processing: Oversee the entire payroll process, including data entry, calculations, deductions, and payments.
- Union Payroll: Demonstrate a strong understanding of union payroll processing and compliance with union agreements.
- Vista by Viewpoint: Proficiency in using Vista by Viewpoint ERP software for payroll processing is preferred.
- Payroll Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
- Certified Payroll and Prevailing Wage: Adhere to certified payroll and prevailing wage requirements.
- Employee Inquiries: Address employee inquiries and resolve payroll-related issues promptly.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit various payroll reports as required.
- Audits: Assist with payroll audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Team Management: Lead and manage a team of payroll specialists.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll operations, preferably in the construction industry.
- Union Payroll: Strong knowledge of union payroll processing and union agreements.
- Vista by Viewpoint: Proficiency in Vista by Viewpoint ERP software is preferred.
- Payroll Tax: Thorough understanding of payroll tax regulations and compliance.
- Certified Payroll: Experience with certified payroll and prevailing wage requirements
