Role: Payment Architect

Experience: 10- 14 years

Location: Pune

Key Responsibilities

- Support the Chief Architect in the provision of a world-class Solutions Architecture service to Customers in the Banking & Financial Services (BFS) Industry.

- Take a lead role in identifying, selecting and aligning the services of the group with supporting tools, frameworks, processes, policies and standards that assist in the commoditisation of the provision of Solutions Architecture Consulting services to BFS Customers.

- Deliver comprehensive architectural solutions across multiple technology families, platforms, functional and industry domains using diverse tools, frameworks and technologies

- Determine and capture client needs by employing appropriate frameworks, tools, and techniques to assess the client's business maturity, problem-space / opportunity-space and goals

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

- Employ sophisticated stakeholder and program meeting management and Information dissemination skills.

- Communicate thought-leadership concepts clearly and effectively to people from technical, business and senior managerial backgrounds including translation of complex information technology concepts into abstract or business language.

- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of payments systems design and operation in multi-national multi-platform environments.

- Perform Architecture Risk Assessments, Produce Architecture and Technology Roadmaps & Oversee Follow-on Evaluations and Tests and Draw-up Architectural Mitigation Plans

- The role also requires direct involvement in the design and development of security components, ensuring these comply with relevant regulations and standards, so familiarity with at least some of these is desirable also.

- A deep understanding of Architectural concepts and objectives.

- Industry sector knowledge of Banking and Financial Systems (some of);

- Payments - Designing & architecting systems in UK /U.S Payments.

- Experience leading design team / architecture teams in payments projects/programs

- Experience leading Payments function
