Position Summary:
- As a Risk Analyst at PayGlocal, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and onboarding merchants onto our platform in compliance with Reserve Bank of India guidelines.
- Your responsibilities will include conducting risk assessments, reviewing KYC documentation, and ensuring seamless onboarding processes.

What will you work on?
- Conduct Merchant Risk Assessments: Evaluate the risk associated with different Lines of Business (LOB) during the pre-onboarding phase.
- KYC Review: Validate KYC documents received from merchants and manage other onboarding activities.
- Coordinate Internally: Collaborate effectively with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding processes.
- Maintain MCC Updates: Ensure Merchant Category Code (MCC) updates are accurate and current.
- AML Screening: Apply knowledge and experience in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) screening processes.
- Decision-Making: Identify and address grey areas in the underwriting process to make informed and efficient decisions.
- KYC Domain Expertise: Leverage knowledge and experience in KYC practices to advantage.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience Minimum 3 years in underwriting roles, preferably within the payment industry.
- Education: Graduate/PG degree in any discipline.
- Industry Knowledge: Proven understanding of various Lines of Business (LOB) and Merchant Category Codes (MCCs).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and creating PowerPoint presentations is advantageous.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic startup environment where priorities may change rapidly
