A highly-regarded law firm is seeking to hire a patent professional with a minimum of three years of experience for their Bangalore location. The ideal candidate should be a qualified patent agent with a degree in chemical engineering and an MSc in microbiology.

Key Responsibilities:

- Draft high-quality patent applications for chemical engineering innovations.

- Conduct comprehensive patent searches and analyze prior art.

- Collaborate closely with inventors to understand and document inventions accurately.

- Prepare responses to office actions from the IN, US, and EPO offices and attend hearings as required.

- Stay updated with the latest developments in patent law, including decisions/orders issued by Patent Offices and High Courts.

- Maintain a high level of technical expertise in chemical engineering.

Requirements:

- 3-6 years of PQE in patent drafting and prosecution.

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
