Patent Analyst - IP Laws

Responsibilities:

- Patent Search and Analysis: Conduct thorough patent searches using various databases to identify relevant prior art.

- Analyze patent documents to assess their scope, claims, and novelty.

- Patent Portfolio Management: Track and manage our existing patent portfolio, ensuring timely renewal and maintenance.

- Patent Drafting and Filing: Assist in the drafting of patent applications, working closely with inventors and attorneys to ensure accuracy and clarity.

- IP Due Diligence: Conduct IP due diligence investigations for mergers, acquisitions, and licensing agreements.

- IP Strategy Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of our overall IP strategy, providing valuable insights and recommendations.

- Stay Updated on IP Laws: Keep abreast of the latest developments in patent law, regulations, and industry trends.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or a related field.

- Strong understanding of patent law and procedures.

- Excellent research and analytical skills.

- Proficiency in patent search databases (e. , Google Patents, Espacenet, Derwent).

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Experience in patent drafting and filing is a plus.
