Investment Manager
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform the evaluation, analysis and deal process on large and strategic acquisitions.
- Assist business unit management with the evaluation, analysis, and process on smaller acquisitions and on larger projects/strategic initiatives/projects
- Perform the analysis and deal process on divestitures and other strategic asset monetization.
- Provide analytical support for the strategic assessment of current and potential new business
- Provide analytical support for the forecasting of business unit results.
- Recognize growth opportunities and potential new markets.
- Manage the existing invested portfolio
- Collect and analyze business unit financial and operational data for investor presentations
- Develop presentation slideshows for investor conferences and meetings
- Participate and assist in investor presentations and meetings
- Analyze individual business unit performance and conduct peer company comparisons
- Maintain current market intelligence
- Track and analyze macro market data and assess operating activity ramifications
- Conduct special projects for the Founder/Co-Founder at both the corporate and BU level
- Learn the operating and strategic fundamentals of all of the company's diversified service lines
- Other high-profile projects as they develop
Other points:
Type: Full Time - 6 days; 48 Hours a week
Location: Fully Remote
Timing: Fully flexible, but some calls may be scheduled during US hours
Requirements:
- Post Graduate / Masters in Educational qualification in Finance, mandatory
- CFA Charter holder or CFA Charter Pending (Level 3 must be completed)
- 1-5 years of experience in financial services (investment banking, VC, PE, Family office) with direct deal experience
- Exceptional financial modelling skills necessary
- Strong skills with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word required
- Excellent verbal communication skills to talk with investors and maintain the company's image
- Excellent written communication skills to prepare convincing presentations and reports
- Detail oriented and have problem solving and multi tasking skills
- Entrepreneurial mind set required along with ability to be flexible, proactive, a learner and be able to work within a team
