About the job:
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Strategy: Develop a comprehensive project plan for the new setup, outlining the timeline, budget, resource allocation, and key milestones.
- Team Leadership: Build and lead a project team, providing guidance, assigning tasks, and ensuring high levels of performance and collaboration.
- Resource Management: Identify and manage resources required for the new setup, including human resources, equipment, and materials.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact between all stakeholders, including senior management, contractors, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
- Budget & Cost Management: Ensure the project is delivered within budget and on time, continuously monitoring expenses and controlling costs.
- Vendor & Contractor Management: Oversee the selection, negotiation, and management of vendors and contractors, ensuring that they meet quality and performance standards.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all legal, safety, and regulatory requirements are met throughout the setup process.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to avoid project delays or cost overruns.
- Quality Control: Ensure that the setup meets the company's standards of quality, safety, and operational efficiency.
- Project Reporting: Regularly report project status to senior management, highlighting progress, potential roadblocks, and any corrective actions taken.
- Post-Setup Transition: Ensure a smooth handover of the facility for operational use, including staff training and documentation.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree
- Experience: 15-20 years of experience in project management, with at least 10 years in a leadership role, preferably in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial setup projects.
Skills:
- Proven track record in managing large-scale projects from initiation to completion.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Expertise in budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance in industrial settings.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
