Roles and Responsibilities :
- To plan and develop a strategy for the retail development function for the year in accordance with the business expansion plans of the organization.
- To map the future outlets and by leading diversification into outlets, formats, cities, markets, etc. by conducting market research on suitable cities, population, and other demographic aspects and to increase the company's touchpoints through various outlets across geographies, and locations, etc.
- To understand business viability, potential, opportunity, ROI, investments, etc. while mapping a territory, area, city, or a region for the purpose of increasing the no. of outlets that can get the best potential in terms of the catchment area, visibility, footfall, etc. and to drive profitability in the process of expansion.
- To manage the regional teams to make property acquisitions and understand viability in terms of commercials, business viability, and technical viability (equipment and material accessibility) due to diligence, contract agreement, and legalities.
- To work with the Project construction team and act as the bridge between them for the development of the site and the landlord for the purpose of making the site ready for operations by being the front face for the developer in front of the landlord.
