In India, we are based in Gurgaon and Mumbai and we work with industry leaders across multiple functions and domains, recruiting mid-senior level executives across sales and marketing, finance, HR, procurement and supply chain, banking, analytics and legal disciplines.

JOB DESCRIPTION :

We are currently looking for a Recruitment Consultant for the Sales, Marketing and Engineering practice for the Energy sector. The role would involve:

1. Business Development - Identifying, developing and managing client business relationships as well as selling our recruitment services and negotiating the rates of business.

2. Recruitment - You will manage the end-to-end recruitment process from interview to offer stage, and beyond.

3. Relationship Management - You would build mutual benefiting relationships with clients and candidates and work as part of a passionate team to maximize Page Group's commercial performance.

The role involves a high degree of understanding of the Energy and Utilities sector of India - how organizations are structured, potential clients in this space and the ability to plan and reach out to relevant stakeholders in these organizations. It will also require a good grasp of basic engineering and/or engineering products.

IDEAL CANDIDATE :

You should apply for this role if you :

1. Have 2 - 5 years of experience in the Energy/Engineering industry- sales experience is mandatory

2. Have some degree of interaction with multiple stakeholders in your current role, both internally and with external clients

3. Have a Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineering degree from a Tier I/II institution in India

4. Have an MBA from a Tier I/II institution in India

5. Are someone who thrives on business development, understanding a new space, and reaching out to various stakeholders

6. Are highly self-motivated with excellent communication skills, and a desire to fast-track your growth as a sales professional

Prior experience in HR / Recruitment is not mandatory at all. In fact, we're looking for driven sales / BD professionals with knowledge of the Energy/Engineering industry and a desire to build their own business at Michael Page.
