Quality Leader

Quality Leader is accountable to continuously improve the manufacturing process to eliminate waste, improve safety, reduce cost, increase capacity and productivity, and improve the product.

Location: Silvassa, UT of DNH

Responsibilities:

- Supporting trials for new and existing products to meet customer's fitness for use.

- Conducting daily process audits to review Critical Product Characteristics and Critical Process Variables and implementing sustainable corrective actions for process shifts or upsets.

- Determining process consistency and capability (Cpk)

- Implementing control charting schemes for Critical Process Variables

- Conducting process audits and implementing corrective actions to ensure product consistency and maximum volume.

- Identifying and eliminating special causes of product and process variation (troubleshooting)

- Analyzing product and process data, providing feedback and making recommendations to optimize performance.

- Implementing corrective actions for issues surfaced through quality complaints and hold tags.

- Identifying, analytically justifying, and requesting capital funding for equipment, modifications, etc.

- Defining and tracking measures of success

- Training employees in process control procedures

Qualification:

- B.Tech. / MTech. in Polymer Science & Technology from reputed institutes with minimum of 15-20 Years

Experience:

- Experience in Polymer Processing, Compounding and Leading Quality & New Product Development Functions in medium to large sized Polymer Processing Industries.

- Certification Knowledge of (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 17025, BIS, CE, NSF etc.)

- Six Sigma or lean manufacturing experience

- Knowledge and experience in project management

- TPM
