Position Title : Logistic Leader

Location : Taloja, Navi Mumbai

Qualification Graduate or PG in Supply Chain or Materials Management.

Experience : 15+ years in logistics and warehouse management with MNCs/reputed Indian firms. Expert in international ocean and air freight rates.

About Company : US Fortune 500 MNC , market leader in residential and commercial building products leader.

Position : The Logistic Leader ensures timely product delivery, coordinates with Manufacturing and Customer Service, and oversees Warehousing and Logistics.

Broad Scope:

- Logistics: Inbound/outbound, ocean movements, import/export, transit/documentation, stores, and finished goods warehousing.

- Compliance: Sox compliance, audits, statutory compliances, liaison with CHA/freight forwarders, and 3PL operators.

- Freight Optimization: Optimize freight cost/kg for inland trucking and ocean.

- Inventory Management: Manage inventory, sub-contracting documentation, stock, and liaise with customs/licensing authorities.

- Indirect Tax: Manage customs, GST, and DGFT authorities.

Responsibilities:

Logistics & Warehousing:

- Ensure safety in warehouse, transport, and forklift operations.

- Manage in-house and external warehouses.

- Coordinate with stakeholders for external warehouses and logistics vendors.

- Maintain accurate stock, reconcile, and comply with regulations.

- Manage working capital, control slow-moving/obsolete inventory, and meet business targets.

- Ensure FIFO principle in warehouse management.

- Manage exports, liaising with liners and freight forwarders.

Trade & Exim:

- Guide team on CHA/freight forwarders, 3PL operators, customs/licensing authorities, and license redemption.

- Ensure compliance with foreign trade policy and benefits.

Talent Development:

- Foster talent development through performance management and evaluation systems.
