We are looking for a SCM process consultant for a 12 months contractual role with a global management consulting firm.
Below is more information regarding the project and the requirement
- Define sourcing plan for a telecom service provider covering key categories around
- Network (equipment, accessories, licenses, software applications, AMCs)
- Network -leased access (last mile circuit, backbone, local loops, cross-connect)
- Services (facility management, outsourced manpower, operations & maintenance amongst others)
- IT (equipment, software, software solutions, licences, etc.)
- Customer order triggered procurement (equipment, mast, switches, services, support, applications, etc.)
- Implement Source to Procure to Pay process cycle across the above categories under the following key scenarios:
- Standard off the shelf (reverse auction, self-service catalogues)
- Customer based leased access (carrier contracts, carrier catalogues, quotation for an order, circuit inventory management, SLA management and invoicing)
- Customer based COP cycle (OEM & distributor contract, CPE catalogues, SLA management, CPE inventory planning, CPE replenishment, termination, reverse logistics)
- Complex lease/rental expenses through contract invoicing (colos, data centre, office rental, utilities, services)- Traditional Source to Pay (RFx, vendor rate contract, OLA (or otherwise), PR, PO, SRN/GRN and invoicing process)
- Tail spend / ad-hoc sourcing requirements
