Treasury Specialist - Fund Raising
Key Responsibilities:
Cash Flow Management:
- Oversee cash inflows and outflows.
- Identify potential liquidity risks and implement mitigation measures.
- Ensure the availability of funds for operational needs.
Cost Optimization:
- Optimize the cost of funds and cash utilization.
- Efficiently manage short-term loans, investments, and borrowing arrangements.
Fund Raising:
- Negotiate terms and conditions with lenders.
- Finalize documentation related to various fund-raising activities.
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
- Prepare CMA data, projections, etc., essential for borrowing from lenders.
- Manage accurate and timely treasury reports, financial statements, and other documentation.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, borrowing covenants, internal policies, and industry best practices.
Market Monitoring:
- Stay abreast of various market and sectoral developments.
- Monitor market trends to inform treasury strategies.
Stakeholder Management:
- Resolve issues with various stakeholders, both external and internal.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits and examinations.
Decision Support:
- Work closely with various teams, senior management, and other departments.
- Provide treasury-related insights to support decision-making.
Provisioning Management:
- Manage the ECL (Expected Credit Loss) & CECL (Current Expected Credit Loss) based provisioning.
- Oversee revisions in methodology, preparation, audit, and compliances related to provisioning.
Relevant Skills & Experience:- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in financial reporting and compliance.
- In-depth knowledge of market trends and financial regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and resolve conflicts.
- Experience with ECL & CECL provisioning.
